The Import Cloud Data Screen is accessed from the Subject List accessed from the Edit Subjects Menu option.
Importing Cloud data allows the definition of a service or API that can be accessed to import data into inmydata.
There are 3 relevant action accessible from the Subject list

Enter / amend the detail for the Service or API Start by entering the Subject Name and selecting the type of import. ![]() Additional import types will be added in time.
If a Login is required select the Require Login and enter the details Once entered, select Next ![]() If there is is already data in the subject you can choose to use this data to view when l ![]() The API call is then run and inmydata will show progress of "Retrieve data" and "Analyzing the imported data" before displaying the following screen, where the loaded columns can be amended to set more suitable names and data types. ![]()
Once Complete press Next to move to the next stage ![]() If you choose to "add to the existing data" then you get to see all the current columns and set ones that will form an index that will be used to remove old data when new data is added. ![]() The Final step is to set a schedule for the import to be run. Note: that it is possible to manually run the import independently of the schedule The frequency can be every day, day of week or start/end of week, month, quarter or year. ![]() If "Every Set Interval" is selected set a start time and a repeat interval of minutes, hours or days ![]() |

The "Refresh cloud data now" button will trigger a run of the Cloud Data request process and update the subject's data based on the stored cloud data settings.
